New Stamps

Hello friends!
There are new stamps listed in the shop today and I want to share with you a couple of quick and easy projects created with them.

First is this tag using the Fashion Girl stamp.
First I embossed the tag and distressed it,
then layered paper scraps and embellishments for a fun gift tag.

I also created this card featuring the Traveling Couple stamp for a fun colorful card!  I colored both of my stamps using Copic markers.  I am enjoying learning how to create with these cool markers and I highly recommend them!

You can find our shop here.

Halloween Tutorial

Hello friends!
I have a Halloween tutorial for you today!
This simple to make wall hanging could be adapted for a fun project for any holiday.

I got the idea for this tutorial from a pair of tags. These tags measure about 3 x 6.
I put the ends together to create the pattern for the hanging.

I then cut out 2 from cardstock.
I glued the 2 together to create a more thick, sturdy hanging.

I then started cutting out scrapbook paper to center on my hanging. I cut out both pieces 1/4 inch smaller than the other to fit inside each other.

I then started layering the pieces together. I added strips of orange paper and distressed the edges of the paper to give it a more whimsical feel.

I punched holes on both sides for my ribbon.

I then glued down my title.

I then printed, cut and colored this cute digital stamp from our shop that you can find here, and adhered to the hanging.

On the other side I added a bling spiderweb and started adding the ribbon.
I took 2 pieces of ribbon to create the bows.

To add more detail I die cut these hinges from the Vintage Hardware die by Tim Holtz.

I adhered these to the back of the hanging to finish it off.

Now it's ready to hang and enjoy!

This project was fun and easy!
I hope you give it a try!

Cards and new stamps

Hello friends!
A few more cards to share with you today.
This Fall, silhouettes seem to be all the rage showing up on stamps, scrapbook paper, rub ons and more.
This new stamp features two young Victorian silhouettes holding flowers.
Although I love the black and white contrast, I added just a little touch of color by making the flowers pink.

This fun card features a bluebird that looks bright and cheery on this retro patterned scrapbook paper by Cosmo Cricket.

I was channeling my inner Tim Holtz for this card!
Pulling out my Tim paper pad I created this distressed style card using a sweet little stamp of a boy with an umbrella.

I took this photo the other night of my craft table. I had a variety of my stamps printed up and colored ready to go on cards!

The stamps shown in the cards above plus new Thanksgiving stamps available in the shop.

Wishing you all a lovely day, Lindsey

New Halloween Stamps

Hello friends!
I have a couple of new cards to share with you today.

Are you thinking about Halloween crafting yet?
I think I will spend today pulling out and organizing all my Fall and Halloween craft supplies! It's so much fun!
My favorite season is Fall and I love crafting for it. I love the colors and the whimsy of Halloween paper.
How fun would it be to use this stamp for Halloween party invites?
It's 1 of 3 Halloween stamps avaiable now in the shop.

I made this very simple card using the Art Deco Girl stamp.
I purposefully left it without a sentiment so when an occasion arrives I will already have a premade card ready to pull out that I can adapt to my need.

You can find these digital stamps and more available here in our shop.

An Introduction to Digital Stamps

Hello friends!
If you are new to digital stamps then this post is for you!

A digital stamp is a black and white image which is emailed to you, then you will open your image in whatever program you use, such as Microsoft Word, Wordpad, or Photoshop. Then you adjust the size of the image to whatever you are using it for whether it be a card or other craft project.
Then print and color!

Today I chose to color this cute Halloween image from the shop called Halloween Celebration.

You can color them with colored pencils, crayons or markers.
I have recently fell in love with Copic markers. They are so much fun, but I still have a lot of practicing to do to become good at the blending techniques!

After colouring in the stamp, I assembled a card.
I added a rub on at the bottom of my stamped image to finish off the card.
